Roy Wasserman

Roy Wasserman is a Texas-licensed attorney who joined the Johnson Firm in 2021. The majority of Mr. Wasserman’s work is in the firm’s probate practice.

Mr. Wasserman previously worked as an associate attorney for a mortgage banking law firm, where his clients included banks and mortgage servicers. He primarily handled title, lien priority, HOA, and probate matters. Mr. Wasserman also worked as an in-house counsel for the claims department of a national title insurance underwriter, where he resolved boundary disputes, chain of title defects, heirship conflicts, and various easement-related issues.

Because of his background, Mr. Wasserman has a unique perspective on how probate matters impact real estate closings. Mr. Wasserman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Texas and his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law.
